Creamed Cabbage Bake
1 cabbage chopped, cooked ½ cup finely chopped onion
3 tbsp. butter or margarine 3 tbsp. all purpose flour
½ tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper
2 cups milk grated cheese sprinkle
Chop cabbage coarsely. Boil in salted water along with onion until tender crisp. Drain. Put in 1 ½ quart (1 ½ L) casserole. Melt butter in medium saucepan. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk. Cook, stirring until sauce boils. Pour over cabbage and onion. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake uncovered in 350oF oven for 20-30 minutes until bubbly.
