Cheese Biscuits

  • 1 kg Flour
  • 6 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 300g grated cheddar cheese
  • 300g margarine
  • 500 ml sour cream
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 eggs

Directions

In microwave oven, melt margarine. Add sour cream, milk and eggs. Combine dry and wet ingredients. Knead and let rest for 15 minutes. Roll out dough. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on a greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until light golden in color. While still hot, brush with beaten egg yolk.
